What to do with Christmas leftovers?
This quick little snack makes the most of any left over Pigs in Blankets (if there are any), ideal for a Boxing Day pig out.
What you will need.
- 1 Bottle of Southern Gold
- 3 (or 4 depending on size) cooked cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon or pancetta (leftover from Christmas lunch)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Lightly toast the roll.
Spread plenty of Southern Gold Sauce onto both halves of the roll.
Add a little oil to a pan and quickly fry the pigs in blankets in a pan to crisp up the bacon.
Place the pigs in blankets on top of one half of the roll, then add more Southern Gold on top of the pigs in blankets,
Season with a little Salt & Pepper
Place the other half of the roll on top and tuck in.....
