Miso Horny BBQ Chicken Wings

With our brand-new rubs just around the corner, here’s a delicious Chicken Wing recipe to get you excited about getting your hands on our Miso Horny rub.
Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken wings
- 3tbsp Miso Horny BBQ Rub
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 1tbsp soy sauce
- 1tbsp honey
- 1tsp sesame oil
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced
- 1tbsp sesame seeds
- Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or Gas Mark 6.
- Line a baking tray with aluminium foil or baking parchment.
2. Marinating the wings:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Miso Horny BBQ Rub, olive oil, soy sauce, honey and sesame oil. Mix well to form your marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
3. Cooking the wings:
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking tray. Ensure they are not overcrowded to allow even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach at least 75°C.
4. Serving:
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with finely sliced spring onions and sesame seeds.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired.

Tips:
- If you prefer your wings extra crispy, you can grill them for an additional 3-5 minutes after baking.
